LAST OF 2008 DONATIONS
LOOK WHAT I GOT FOR AUNT JANELLE AND MYSELF. I MADE ONE HAT AND IT WAS REALLY EASY. THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT IT IS I CAN'T MAKE A PREEMIE HAT WITH IT. JUST NEWBORN AND UP. HOW SAD THAT KNIFTY KNITTER DOESN'T MAKE A SMALLER LOOM.
A SCARF AND WHEELCHAIR SHAWL FOR THE NURSING HOME. YOU CAN'T TELL IN THE PICTURE BUT THE SHAWL IS OPEN IN THE FRONT .
THANKS FOR THE ADVICE JENNY.

oooohh, I have got one of these! They are fun. Kniffty knitter do have a website if you google it. They might have other sizes of hoops. What else are you going to make?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Been reading past posts about Rodeny. Sounds very worrying, hope the situation improves soon.xx
ReplyDeleteKathy everything is gorgeous, so soft and comforting.
ReplyDeleteKNIFTY KNITTER IS MY NEW FRIEND. I CAN'T WAIT TO TEACH SOMEONE TO MAKE HATS WITH IT. THANK YOU INDIGO BLUE FOR THINKING OF RODNEY.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU JENNY, YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME FEEL GOOD.
You have been as busy as usual and I have been absent... sorry about the lack of my attention, and to hear Rodney's health issues, but am glad to hear he is eating, an appetite IS a good thing I would think.
ReplyDeleteLove the hat with the knitting looms you made, it looks so warm and soft. I have never tried a knitting loom thing, humm.. makes me wonder why? Andrea has a good idea about checking the web sight from the Knifty Knitter Company and seeing about being able to acquire a smaller loom for the size hats you would like to make.
Happy New Year to you, God bless you and your family and your ministry of charity work. It's an honor to know you [blogly speaking!] Hugs, and prayers for Rodney, Nan
THANK YOU SO MUCH NAN. RODNEY NEEDS ALL THE PRAYERS HE CAN GET.
ReplyDeleteYOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW EASY THE NIFTY KNITTER IS. I WISH YOU COULD MAKE SOCKS WITH IT. I'M GOING TO CHECK OUT THAT SIGHT IN A FEW MINUTES. THE HAT IS SUPER SOFT, I JUST LOVE IT. IT'S BETTER THAN WHAT I CROCHET.
I HOPE THIS YEAR BRINGS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NOTHING BUT LOVE AND HAPPINESS.
That shawl is beautiful! Best wishes to your friend, Rodney. Twyla
