DONATION FOR BRIDGET'S CRADLES

 PRAYER HEARTS
I joined Bridget's Cradles two days ago. I think I'm going to love it. I woke up at 3:30 this morning because I was dreaming about making cradles all night. So might as well get up and crochet. These are my test cradles, blanket and prayer square to send them. Praying I pass the test. LOL  They will add a cross to them if I don't get to town to buy some. The hearts are prayer hearts they give to the  bereaved families. These two cradles are only 7 inches long. So sad! I wish they were never needed.
MY FIRST CRADDLE SET
They will add all the trim to the cradles and prayer squares and hearts if you will just make them. I wanted to do one just to see if what I'm doing is right.

SET #2

HAT AND SCARF SETS

I made this scarf pattern up a couple of years or so ago. I never did get around to writing the pattern. I thought it would be better for the homeless people if it was shorter and would keep them warmer if it had that little hole to put the other side in. I know I'm always nearly losing my scarf because one side just gets longer and longer. Not anymore. Now to find the time to write out the pattern so I don't have to go crazy looking through my donations praying I have just one left to go by.

LOST THEN FOUND

I started this years ago and had to put it up for a bit. I lost the pattern. I have been looking for it for several years now. I found it tucked away in a tablet of paper I was making notes in. I can finish it now. It may take a good while to do that because I'm making it for myself and I spend most of my time making things for charity. But at least I have it now. Thank you lord.

MAT #11

Now to start working on the next delivery. The first one is ready to go. I'm working on plarn now. This makes 32 items for the year.

I HAVE NO WORDS

This makes all our hard work worthwhile. They had 18 people go to minister to the homeless in Chattanooga Tennessee. They had chicken noodle soup, chili , chicken and dumplings and cupcakes. they also had clothes to give away.   I didn't go but I have another mat ready. My heart hurt when I saw this picture of the lady laying on my mat. I'm so thankful God led me to do this. Thank you again to the people that saved bags and made plarn.

PLARN

Thank you Glenda for the two bags of plarn, back right. I made the rest of it. Now to start crocheting. I think I'll have enough to make three mats. This mat was made with Glenda's plarn #9 . 31 things for the year.

DONATED PLARN

This is plarn my friend Glenda and her friends made for me. Glenda's church visits homeless camps and brings them clothes and other items. I think they may take food as well this time. She wants me to go the next time but I don't think I can. I'll stay home and work on more mats. I forgot to post that they helped make plarn on the second mat as well. Thank you to everyone that helped, it really helps me out so much. Out of 21 balls of plarn I had 5 balls left. I also made this one 2 1/2 feet wide instead of 3 feet. It takes 16 balls of plarn to make one mat. That's a lot of bags. This makes 26 items for the year.
