CAN YOU BELIEVE I MADE THIS IN A WEEK? I AM HOOKED ON GRANNY SQUARES NOW. WHILE I WAS MAKING THIS ONE I WAS WORRYING ABOUT THE NEXT ONE. ABOUT HALF OF THE YARN IS WHAT VICKI GAVE ME. I DON'T KNOW WHERE IT'S GOING YET. I'LL POST A UPDATE WHEN I FIGURE IT OUT. I STILL HAVE A LOT OF YARN LEFT THAT NEEDS USED UP.
WE WENT TO HUNTSVILLE TODAY. TIM IS DOING A LOT BETTER. THE DOCTOR WANTS TO SEE HIM AGAIN IN TWO WEEKS. HE'S STILL SWELLING A GOOD BIT IN HIS LEGS AND HANDS. AND HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WAS UP. GAVE HIM NEW MEDS FOR THE BLOOD PRESSURE.
There is something almost therapeutic I would say about making granny squares. Not a whole lot of concentration, but you see fast results and you get to play around with color combinations.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Tim is improving!!
ReplyDeleteAnd, no....I can NOT believe you did that in a week. It's beautiful!
HEY KIMBERLY,
ReplyDeleteI WAS GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU. I FINISHED MY AFGHAN IN A WEEK BECAUSE I HAD TO SEE IT FINISHED. I'VE NEVER BEEN SO CONSUMED WITH A PROJECT BEFORE. I LOVED TRYING TO DECIDE ON DIFFERENT COLORS. I'M ALMOST AFRAID TO START ANOTHER ONE. I THINK I'LL WAIT UNTIL I GET SOME PREEMIE THINGS MADE BEFORE I DO.
THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS CANDY. I'M GLAD YOU AND BABY ARE STILL DOING GREAT. TAKE CARE.
