IDAHO FALLS DONATION


5 GOWNS, 5 BONNETS AND 2 BURIAL POUCHES WILL GO IN THE MAIL THIS WEEK HOPEFULLY. WHILE TIM WAS IN THE HOSPITAL IN MARCH CANDY FROM 25 THINGS FOR CHARITY PUT OUT AN URGENT NEED FOR A HOSPITAL IN IDAHO FALLS. I'M SURE THAT NEED HAS BEEN FILLED BY NOW. BUT I WOULD STILL LIKE TO SEND THEM A FEW THINGS. SADLY HOSPITALS DO HAVE A NEED FOR BEREAVEMENT ITEMS.
HERE IS THE BURIAL GOWN PATTERN.

  1. Hi Kathy yes I am the one who lives in Owens Cross Roads and the Project Linus is chaired by Bev Hawkins
    peghawkins@bellsouth.net she will be glad to talk to you.Project Linus makes blankets for the NICU but also hats booties burial gowns etc. If you are interested contact Bev and she will tell you what we are in need of. She has just started this and I think that she needs all of the help that she can get. Email me and let me know if you need anymore information or Bev's phone number. I don't feel comfortable giving it out this way but will give it to you when you email me.

  2. HEY BRENDA. GLAD YOU GOT BACK TO ME. I USE RED HEART SOFT BABY AND BERNAT SOFTEE BABY YARN. I GUESS I NEED TO PUT THE YARN I USE IN MY POST. WILL CONTACT BEV. THANKS.

  3. As always, your bereavement items are just beautiful!! Just a bit of an update on Amy. Her daughter was born on May 8th at 4 lbs 2 oz. She still needs a few more days in the NICU to learn to suck, swallow, breathe but is over all doing great. Thank you for making this donation and so many others in memory of my Emma Grace!!

    Your burial gowns are very pretty. When I first started making the burial idea for a charity that I help. At first it made me a little sad.But when I think that a baby will have something pretty to wear. I make my heart feel a little better.

  7. Ever since losing my father I have wanted to do something truly meaningful for the bereaved, I think this is the perfect service for grieving families. Thank you for the pattern, I too am donating to EIRMC in Idaho Falls, that is where my friend's twins were just a week ago! God bless you.
