HERE ARE 12 HATS FOR ST. JUDE. MY FRIENDS AND I MADE 154 HATS THAT WE SENT OFF IN MARCH.WE PLAN ON DOING THIS EVERY YEAR. A LOCAL RADIO STATION RAISES MONEY EVERY YEAR IN FEB. I,M NOT SURE HOW MUCH MONEY WE RAISED TO GO WITH THE HATS. THE REST OF THE HATS ARE POSTED AT http://rainbowcrochet.blogspot.com/ THIS IS A NEW SITE THAT MY FRIEND SET UP TO KEEP TRACK OF OUR CROCHETING.
UPDATE:
HERE'S A LINK TO THE HAT PATTERN. http://www.crochetnmore.com/flowerappliquehat.htm THANKS LISA FOR LETTING ME POST A LINK TO YOUR PATTERN. WE DID USE SEVERAL DIFFERENT EDGINGS SO THE HATS DIDN'T ALL LOOK ALIKE.
MY HUSBAND HAS HAD A TRIPLE BY PASS AND A PACE MAKER SINCE MY LAST POST. I HAVE MORE THINGS MADE. I'VE JUST GOT TO FIND TIME TO TAKE PICTURES AND POST THEM.
Love the hats Kathy they look great and going to a wonderful place! I would love to make some for my charity work. Did the pattern come from a book that I can buy?
ReplyDeleteHEY KIMBERLY. THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS. I GOT THE PATTERN OFF A SITE ON CROCHET PATTERN CENTRAL. THEY HAVE TONS OF FREE PATTERNS. I HAVE A LINK TO THE SITE ON MY BLOG. THE NAME OF THE PATTERN IS FLOWER APPLIQUE HAT.I DID WORK DIFFERENT EDGINGS ON IT SO THE HATS DIDN'T ALL LOOK THE SAME. I FOUND THE PATTERN EASY TO WORK UP. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE FINDING IT LET ME KNOW. THANKS AGAIN. HAPPY CROCHETING.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy for pointing out where to go! I'll be sure to look for the pattern next time I go to CPC!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle right now of working on a batch of scarves.....wanting to get a jump start on the fall crocheting as I can be a very slooooooow crocheter =)
I DON'T THINK IT MATTERS HOW FAST OR SLOW YOU ARE. YOU NEVER GET CAUGHT UP. THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE YOU WANT TO MAKE SOMETHING FOR. THATS A GOOD THING.
