SWIFFER SWEEPER TYPE WASHABLE AND REUSABLE COVER

Ball of 100% cotton yarn
Size K (6.50mm) crochet hook
CH 14
ROW 1: DC in second chain from hook. SC in next chain, DC in next chain. Repeat across
to end of row, ending with a DC. Do not chain, just turn work.
ROW 2: * SC in top of DC of row below, DC in top of SC of row below. * Repeat alternating
stitches across to end of row, ending with a SC. CH 1, turn.
ROW 3: * DC in top of SC of row below, SC in top of DC of row below. * Repeat alternating
stitches across to end of row, ending with a DC. Do not chain, just turn work.
ROWS 4-42: Repeat rows 2 and 3, ending with a row that begins and ends with a SC.
Finish off.
Finished size will be 5 inches by 18 inches, before stitching down end pockets.
To create pockets on both ends, turn one end over 3-1/2 inches, whip stitch both edges,
and finish off. Repeat with other end. Once all tails are woven in and secured, turn work
inside out and place on your sweeper.
Machine wash and dry. May wet or spray cover before using or just use it dry.
