OUR MORNING WALK WAS NICE, IT WAS A LOT WARMER. WE STOPPED IN A FRIEND BEFORE WE GOT HOME. I DIDN'T SEE HER LIGHTS ON AND WAS WORRIED, SHE'LL BE 80 THIS MONTH. SHE WAS JUST GETTING UP. I SAT AND TALKED WITH HER FOR A BIT.
THIS IS A POT HOLDER I SAW ON
ANOTHER BLOG, MARY GAVE ME THE DIRECTIONS SO I COULD MAKE IT. THANK YOU! MY SON LOVES IT, HE'S 36 YEARS OLD. HE WANTS ME TO PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG SO HE CAN SHOW IT TO HIS FRIENDS. I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE USED THREAD. THANK YOU MARY AND I LOVE YOUR BLOG.
Stunning sunrise...a new day for us to give it a go..Hoping your husband is on the mend..and praying for no infection, no doubt painful.
ReplyDeleteYour potholder is so pretty, I am making one also, these are just so lovely. I hope to move the hook today after working 2 days...I started the rose, but had a wee bit of a problems with the stitches that day..distracted.
Heres is to our simple abundance and joys...!
Kathy, your potholder is beautiful. I love the ruffle edging, how pretty. It looks like we both used that pretty mint green for the leaves. I just love that color. That is so sweet that your son wants to show it to his friends. I haven't used yarn for so long and I started a doily-ghan that I saw on Sarah's Sweethearts blog. At first the yarn felt big as rope. Tee Hee. I am loving the crocheting blogs I am finding thru Faith's Crochet by the Sea. I am so glad you shared the picture. It is beautiful. Prayers for the burn. Oh my, so glad it wasn't worse. Have a wonderful day! God Bless!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise! I have a few old potholders on display in my kitchen, including one like the one you crocheted. The rose looks very challenging to make. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteYour pot holders are gorgeous! Too good to use really. I have been sticking at learning to crochet but it is following any kind of pattern that I have problems with.
ReplyDeleteLovely sunrise.
