THIS IS MY FIRST FINISHED PROJECT FOR 2010. THIS IS A WHEELCHAIR WRAP THAT WILL GO TO THE NURSING HOME. THEY SEEM TO LIKE THESE BETTER THAN LAPGHANS.
THIS IS A LITTLE PREEMIE BLANKET THAT I STARTED WHILE WAITING FOR TIM TO GET ONE OF HIS TEST DONE IN DECEMBER. THERE WAS THE SWEETEST LADY THAT STARTED TALKING TO ME WHILE I WAS CROCHETING. SHE HAD GOTTEN TO WHERE SHE COULDN'T CROCHET ANYMORE. WHILE WE WERE TALKING SHE JUST STARTED PULLING THE YARN OUT AS I CROCHETED. WE NEARLY GOT IT MADE. I COULD SEE IN HER EYES THAT IT MEANT A LOT TO HER TO BE ABLE TO TOUCH THE YARN AND BE ABLE TO HELP. I THINK OF HER WHEN I MAKE A PREEMIE BLANKET NOW.
A BLUE PREEMIE BLANKET.
I FINISHED THIS LITTLE SET YESTERDAY. I MADE UP THE BLANKET PATTERN SO IT WOULD GO WITH THE GOWN I CAME UP WITH. THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME EDGING. NOW IF I CAN FIND TIME TO WRITE IT DOWN BEFORE I FORGET WHAT I DID. I ALSO NEED TO BUY MORE RIBBON SO I CAN PUT THE OTHER BOW ON IT. COME TO THINK OF IT I MAY SEW LITTLE PINK PRE MADE BOWS ON IT SO I CAN GET IT BAGGED UP AND READY TO SHIP.
TIM'S IN THE WOODS AGAIN SO I'M GOING TO SEE IF I CAN GET CAUGHT UP ON MY POSTING. HE REALLY DID LIGHT UP WHEN I READ HIM THE COMMENTS SOME OF YOU LEFT ABOUT HIM KILLING A DEER. THANK YOU!
Such pretty crochet, Kathy. I still intend to help you out with some preemie items, when I get myself caught up around here.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the crochet! I've gotten several chemo hats made and I'm finishing up a acarf. Your crochet is very pretty.
