THIS PICTURE DIDN'T TURN OUT VERY WELL BUT IF YOU CLICK ON IT YOU CAN READ ABOUT THIS OVERLOOK. TIME WAS RUNNING OUT AND MOST OF THE PICTURES WERE TO DARK.
THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN AROUND LITTLE RIVER CANYON . THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE OVERLOOK SHOWING THE LITTLE BENCH.
THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE ROAD IN FRONT OF ME AND THE NEXT ONE IS BEHIND ME. I LOVE THIS DRIVE IN THE FALL. THE ROAD IS PAVED WITH WINDING CURVES AND HILLS. THIS PART OF THE CANYON IS ALONG AL. HWY. 176, IT'S ABOUT 11 OR 12 MILES OF BEAUTY.
THIS IS A PICTURE OS THE FALLS TALKED ABOUT IN THE FIRST PICTURE. NO WATER AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.
THIS IS A PICTURE OF THE NEXT OVERLOOK. IF YOU LOOK HARD YOU CAN SEE PEOPLE ADMIRING THE CANYON.
THESE TWO PICTURES WERE TAKEN AT THE OVERLOOK IN THE PICTURE ABOVE.
LITTLE RIVER CANYON FEATURES THE NATIONS LONGEST MOUNTAINTOP RIVER AND IS ONE OF THE SOUTHEASTS DEEPEST CANYONS. LACK OF RAIN HAS LEFT THE RIVER RATHER DRY.
I'LL DO MY BEST TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE CANYON AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE YEAR. I ALSO LOVE THE PICTURES OF THE FROZEN WATERFALLS.
WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I FIRST MET WE WOULD RIDE AROUND THE CANYON NEARLY EVERYDAY.
The colors are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place. The trees where we live never got as spectacular as those in your pictures. Thanks for sharing! Twyla
