I NEED HELP

I KNEW I HAD A YARN PROBLEM. I JUST FOUND OUT THIS WEEK HOW BAD IT REALLY IS. I WENT TO A WAL-MART IN A DIFFERENT TOWN TODAY BECAUSE I KNEW THE ONE IN MY TOWN HAD YARN ON SALE. I TOLD MYSELF I WASN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING BUT LOOK. AS YOU CAN SEE I DID MORE THAN LOOK. FIFTEEN IS THE LUCKY NUMBER FOR TODAY. TWENTY SIX FOR THE WEEK. SO FAR THAT IS. YOU KNOW I'M GOING BACK. SIMPLY SOFT WAS ONLY A DOLLAR. THAT'S WHAT I USE TO MAKE HATS FOR ST. JUDE. WE SEND THEM OUT IN MARCH I THINK. OH WELL , AT LEAST MY ADDICTION HELPS OTHERS.

  1. We're all suffering from the same addiction, and I don't think there's a cure. I guess there are worse addictions, and at least we look for yarn that's on sale.

  2. Hey, Kathy, I saw that you are trying to make some kits to send me? That really makes my day! At this point, I am waiting to hear back from a contact in San Diego. The batch I have will go to fire victims. Do you want to send me what you have? If the contact says they don't need stuff (because Californians are really rallying to help neighbors) I could still keep what you send in storage for the next disaster. Let me know by posting on my blog at www.zoanna.blogspot.com . Thanks so much for your caring heart!

  3. Yay - more yarn!!!! I am an enabler of all things yarny! I am addicted too....I keep buying yarn and I don't have anywhere left to put it.....I have to sit on my totes to close them now and I still have 4 large bags sitting out (time to buy more totes I think!) I even ordered more yarn to be sent to my parents so I can try some US yarn next time I am home.

Yes, just think that it is all for a wonderful cause.....And your buying yarn on sale just allows you to help that many more people!

  5. Kathy,
There is no such thing as a "yarn problem". It doesn't exist.

The way I see it, it's like chocolate. If you eat your dinner with something like broccoli and then eat chocolate, it cancels out.

Yarn...since you are making things for others, the "problem" you say you have doesn't exist. It cancels out.

    See what I mean? :)
