WELL HERE IS 3 QUARTS AND 8 PINTS OF SQUASH RELISH I PUT UP YESTERDAY. I MADE 1 BATCH HOT AND 1 BATCH SWEET. I REALLY ENJOY CANNING THINGS FOR MY FAMILY. I DIDN'T MAKE ANY JELLY OR PRESERVES THIS YEAR. I WAS BUSY TAKING CARE OF TIM. WE DON'T EAT A LOT OF IT ANYWAY. I USUALLY GIVE IT AWAY.
PLEASE PRAY FOR MY YOUNGEST SON. HE WANTS TO JOIN THE ARMY. JUST PRAY FOR HIM TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION. AND WHATEVER HE DECIDES PRAY FOR HIM TO BE SAFE.

Kathy,
ReplyDeleteYou and your family are in my prayers for your son to make the right decision. But he has parents that raised him correctly, so he will do what's right.

THANK YOU ALLYSON FOR YOUR PRAYERS. HE HAD A NERVE TRANSPLANT ON HIS LEFT ARM IN NOVEMBER 2006. I DON'T WANT HIM TO DO SOMETHING THAT MAY HURT HIM. I JUST WANT HIM TO BE SAFE AND HEALTHY. THAT'S WHAT ALL MOTHERS WANT.
ReplyDeleteYour canning looks yummy, bright and colorful for a winter day ahead, a taste of summer!
ReplyDeleteYou're in my thoughts and prayers with you sons decision making. My own 19 year old just joined the Army ROTC in college, it's not what I wanted for him, but it's always been what he has wanted since he was in first grade.
My son in law comes home from Iraq in 3 weeks, I am proud of him for going and doing his job, but anxious for his time to be up over there, I just want all of our troops home safely.
THANKS NAN,
ReplyDeleteYOUR SON AND SON-IN-LAW ARE IN MY PRAYERS TO. I THINK JOHN HAS CHANGED HIS MIND FOR NOW. HE HAS A NEW GIRLFRIEND.I'M PROUD OF EVERYONE IN THE ARMED FORCES. I PRAY FOR EVERYONE TO RETURN HOME SAFE. SADLY THAT DOESN'T ALWAYS HAPPEN. ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY FOR THE FAMILY THEY LEAVE BEHIND.
