I USED THE PATTERN HERE ,AND THE CHANGES HERE. THEN I LEFT THE BACK OPEN ALL THE WAY DOWN. I DID FOLLOW THE PATTERN OF THE BUBBLE SUIT UNTIL THE DECREASE WAS MADE. I DIDN'T DECREASE I WORKED A DC ALL THE WAY ACROSS UNTIL DESIRED LENGTH. THEN I WORKED A SC UP THE EDGE, THEN I WORKED A SL ST BETWEEN THE DC CH 3 ALONG THE NECK THEN SC DOWN THE OTHER EDGE. I WEAVED A LENGTH OF RIBBON AROUND THE NECK AND WAIST OF THE GOWN TO USE AS TIES ON THE BACK. I THEN SEWED A BOW AND PIECE OF RIBBON ON THE FRONT. I USED THE HAT PATTERN HERE. THE BOOTIE PATTERN HERE.
THIS LITTLE OUTFIT AND THE BUBBLE SUIT WILL BE GOING TO THE 2ND ANNUAL EMMAZING GRACE FOUNDATION DRIVE. I HAVE A BOX I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FILL UP SO I CAN GET IT IN THE MAIL. I JUST COULDN'T WAIT UNTIL I GOT IT FULL BEFORE I TOOK A PICTURE . I JUST LOVE THIS LITTLE OUTFIT.
First of all, it's good to see you post. I was starting to worry if all was ok. Second of all, I think this is my new favorite. It's soooo adorable and sweet. Thanks, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteKathy your work is beautiful- I love it! Great job!
ReplyDeleteKathy the little dress is just precious. Since the parents of the child don't have many things of their childs to cherish how about making an extra bootie to give to them as a keepsake? It does not take much time to add an extra bootie and it would mean so much to them.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE NICE COMMENTS. THEY MEAN A LOT. WHEN MY HANDS HURT KIND WORDS KEEP ME GOING.
ReplyDeleteCANDY YOU'LL SOON SEE WHY I'VE NOT BEEN POSTING .
BRENDA I'VE NOT THOUGHT ABOUT ADDING AN EXTRA BOOTIE. THANKS.
